Operation Pro Card Complete

August 28th I was able to garner the coveted Pro-Card at North Americans in Pittsburgh PA.

Over 900 competitors signed up for this show as it is the biggest show in the NPC, reason being is at this show, you don’t have to be a US citizen.

So you had Brazilians there, Russians, Asians, people from Guatemala. It was wild…

So to sign up for each category is $300.00 now multiple that by 900 competitors.

Yeah!!… :joy::joy::joy: the promoter had a pretty good pay day. Of course he doesn’t pocket all of that, but most.

So anyways, I signed up for Classic Physique ages 35 and up.

This was my best look yet; I was sharp, dense, full and posing was on point. This prep pushed me both physically and mentally as this was my 3rd attempt at garnering said pro card.

Recap… in 2021 I got 9th out of 29 in middle weight, this was at the NPC Championship which was held in Orlando Fl. Major learning experience as I knew I was capable of being competitive but I needed work.

So I got back to training but it was still just me, no coach…

I then went to the NPC Championship again…

This time it was held in Irving Texas, I was closer in placing but I still missed it.

I was 4th out of 17… I had dropped down to welterweight as I thought if I was lighter I would be more peeled. I was peeled, but a little flat and just wasn’t good enough. I was happy with the results, as I was close and soon would crack the code, but how soon.

I began to talk to a guy whose athlete placed higher than me at the Orlando NPC Championship show. He told me his methods, what he believes in and why he chooses to configure plans the way he does for his athletes. I felt comfortable and I decided to work with him, I’m glad I did.

This prep pushed me both mentally and physically I am now a better competitor because of it. I’ve never looked this sharp, and at this show (yesterday) I came in diced, but I was tighter at finals.

Taking a week or two off, no lifting just walking as we conduct a good PCT and get blood work done. From there we begin to train for the Orlando Pro as our pro-debut. (I’m located in central Fl)

Just wanna say thanks for giving a weirdo introvert a place to have a voice. I really like being a part of this community. Thank you! :pray:t5:

To the Marines, :speaking_head:SEMPER-KILL!!

I’ve looked at the pics several times.

It’s apparent you worked hard for this. Those other dudes on stage with you looked good too.

You definitely had some stiff competition.

Not much to say but…Im never impressed
You were dry and big. Now on to PHDs pics. You did classic? All 1s I suppose? Your legs were so big and split in the pics! I can’t believe, first year I didn’t follow online. Marine you looked head and shoulders above your competitors.
