Citrulline and Arginine

So I’m looking into using these two things preworkout, never used before, besides steroid based non-ester compounds I don’t use pwo.I need someone to explain why you would want a pwo with both of these in it,if the body converts citrulline to arginine then into nox in about a hour why not just use arginine??

I personally don’t take too much of that stuff.

Thanks @Poppy however it seems it’s gonna be like a pick and choose as to which article I believe, this one says sustained release the other says it converts in about a hour to arginine which is not sustained release

Yep… blasted internet will drag you down a rabbit hole. I take some pwo drink every so often. Not regularly by any means.

I figure this will give me more endurance and help my BP.

You said why not just use Arginine. Looks like citrulline actually increases arginine levels more efficiently than equivalent Arginine doses alone.

I went off of @Dirtnasty and went with Bulk Supplements.

Looks like they work best together with a 2/1 ratio of citrulline to arginine.

I read through a few and that’s what I was seeing. I remember a friend of mine taking both back in the day. He had huge veins popping all over his arms, shoulders, and chest.

That’s great seeing as I walk up 3 steps and veins are Poppin

I’m on my way to do some Equnine Therapy the wife talked me into it.

Completely different then the Mexican version featuring Donkeys, I’m hoping.
